PINEWOOD Water Repellent Wax

PINEWOOD® Water Repellent Wax

It’s a block of wax.
That’s the point.

Pinewood Water Repellent Wax 4600 is a traditional solid wax designed to restore water resistance in polycotton and similar outdoor fabrics. No sprays. No mystery chemicals. Just proper wax you apply by hand.

If your jacket’s stopped beading water and started soaking it up, this is how you fix it.

What it does

- Boosts water repellency

- Helps fabric resist light to moderate rain

- Extends the life of well-used gear

- Can slightly increase durability in high-wear areas

It won’t turn a windbreaker into a submarine suit.
But it will help your gear handle real-world weather again.

How it works

Rub it onto clean, dry fabric.
Warm it gently (hairdryer or low heat) so it melts into the fibres.
Let it cool.

Done.

Old-school. Effective.

Best for

- Polycotton jackets and trousers

- Hunting and hiking gear

- Hard-wearing outdoor clothing

- High-wear spots like shoulders, knees and cuffs

Not ideal for

- Lightweight technical membranes

- Down jackets

- Seam-taped waterproof shells

Check your garment label first. Wax and technical membranes aren’t always mates.

Why bother?

Because replacing a jacket is expensive.
Reproofing it isn’t.

A small bit of effort. A longer life for your gear.
Less waste. Less spend. More time outside.

Practical. No drama.
